Also made a quick road trip to Biloxi, MS (1.5 hrs away). I checked out a couple of "riverboat" casino/poker rooms while I was there (and to augment my chip collection). I also checked out the Hard Rock Cafe (and casino) among other things in Biloxi.
I should have probably went earlier in the day so I could actually see stuff (and view landscape in non-darkness). There were lots of ads for the "Southern Poker Championship" in Jan. 2011...
I played 1-2 NLHE for about an hour (about 4-5 tables going). There was a 2-5 game, but I did not really feel like playing in it.
