15000 starting chips with 50/100 blinds and 30 min levels with reentry
1st table reads:
Reads:
1 young Asian guy
2
3 young Asian lady
4
5 "fighter" who said he did MMA boxing
6 middle aged quiet European
7 young white guy?
8 unknown who eventually gets replaced by Asian middle aged player with PCA cap (who was at Wynn and may have been at my 2012 WSOP PLO8 table)
9 hero
---------------
Hero's stack was around 20k starting and had not really played any hands.
Blinds: 150/300
Hero dealt: A642 (A42 suited)
Hero raised to 750
(folds to hero)
UTG+1 (hero): raises to 750
(folds to button)
button (5): calls
SB: folds
BB: (folds)
(2 players - 1950 in pot)
Flop: T99 two tone (hero does not have FD)
Hero bets 1050
Button: raises to 5000
Hero: folds
Analysis:
Preflop: Standard raise in EP.
Flop: Easy bet/fold spot. Bet sizing was also good (~1/2 PSB given effective stacks were around 20k).
---------------
Hero dealt: AK52 (A2 suited)
6 (~20k): raises to 900
7: folds
8 (~12k): calls
9 (~18k): hero 3bets to 3500
(other players fold)
6: calls
8: calls
(3 players - 11000 in pot)
Flop: J65 rainbow (hero has backdoor flush draw)
6: checks
8: checks
hero: bets 6500
6: folds
8 calls with 600 behind
Turn: J65 Q (rainbow)
8: goes all in
hero: calls
8: shows AT98 (AT suited, but no flush draw)
River: J65Q4
Hero scoops and stack = 31,200
Analysis:
Hero got gifted a stack!
Preflop: 3b here to squeeze and go all in is a decent play to build an aggressive image. The hand plays well hot/cold equity wise.
Flop: Effective SPR is ~1-1.5. AHero wants to be able to setup smaller bets in 3b pots later. Hero has enough equity to apply pressure, but easily it's a bet/call in this situation.

Updated Player Reads
8: New Asian male player with PCA cap who was at the Wynn.
Also, at least 4-5 people at the table ordered drinks as seats 1 & 3 had just busted out of the WSOP PLO8 day 2 (in the money)....
Seat 1 mentioned that they noticed Jason Mercier was betting multiple streets on monotone board with air. Seat 1 exploited it and was able to get a lot of chips (the only chips that player got that day).
Hero's stack at first break: 30k @ 300/600 blinds
---------------
Shortly after break:
Hero dealt: AA33 (A3 suited)
Hero in BB
(folds to SB)
SB: limps
hero (BB): raises
SB: folds
Hero won small pot by raising preflop.
---------------
Blinds: 300/600
8 (~28k): Had seen at various PLO8 MTTs (Wynn $550, possibly 2012 WSOP $1500)
Hero dealt: AKJ4 (AJ suited)
Effective stack sizes: ~30k
(folds to button)
8 (button): raises to 2100
hero (SB): calls
BB: folds
(2 players - 5000 in pot)
Flop: A93 rainbow (hero has BDFD)
hero: checks
8: bets 4000
hero: raises to 12000
8: calls
(2 players - 29000 in pot)
Turn: A937 (two flush, hero has no FD)
hero: bets ~18000 (AI)
8: calls for less
8: shows AKKQ (AK suited, but no flush draw)
River: A9372
Hero gets 3/4 pot (splitting with top pair Aces w/ King kicker + hero has only low).
Analysis:
Reads: Villain assumed to be at least somewhat competent. Although villain's opening button range may be very wide in this spot.
Preflop: This is an ok hand to call with against a wide range. There's merit to 3-betting in SB too.
Flop: This is likely a possible spew by hero...Hero only has TPTK, although villain rarely has 2p (A3 much more weighted than A9). Hero was trying to fold out a bunch of villain's air and/or draws which can get half the pot w/ likely semi-bluff.
Turn: Likely a spew against most of villain's range.
If villain had nut low draw, villain is never folding and could be freerolling hero if flop backdoor flush draw became a flush draw.
Hero's still behind the same range of hands, although any hands that picked up 2 pair are now ahead of hero.
Basically, this bet doesn't really go in for value and is likely a spew.
A likely PPT Sim based on villain's range and perception as non-fishy:

Hero was gifted more chips as villain called off with bottom end of his range.

blinds: 400/800
20 min later at 300 600. A2 q5 ss. 643 rainbow. Hero bets and calls all in from shorter stack. Had aj62 bdfd. 2a run out for scoop. 64200 @ 400 800

Analysis:
Preflop: Isolation play is normal
Flop: Hero is bet/calling with nut hand in both direction.
---------------
Tweet: A possible bad fold to 50% bet on a82 w a832 oop in bb after calling PFR.
Note: Hero does not have any recollection about hand or villains...
---------------
Table unfortunately breaks (one player had reentered after busting, and was placed back on same table to start).
Hero gets moved to table with big stack 2 of the left of hero (Mickey Appleman has the stack).
---------------
Table 2 reads:
*my twitter also listed the wrong player. Mickey Appleman was not at my table, but actually Paul Magriel.
1
2 person w/ IPAD (eventually villain would play hand against hero AI)
3 hero
4 British person, friendly and seemed competent
5 Paul Magriel - A very famous chess/backgammon player (X-22) and famous for using 2200/2200 bet size increments; also creator of "M" expounded upon by Harrington
6
7 middle aged lady
8
9
---------------
Hero has no reads on any players (hero has played maybe ~10 hands since being moved to this table.
Hero dealt: AT92 (AT suited)
(folds to seat 7)
7 (~25k): raises to 4200
(players fold)
2: calls
sb (hero): calls
bb: folds
(3? players - 13800 in pot)
flop: 964 two tone (hero does not have flush draw)
hero: checks
7 (PFR): bets pot (~13800)
2: folds
hero: raises all in
7: calls
7: shows A2xx (nut flush draw + nut low draw)
turn: 964J (completes flush)
river: 964JQ (completes flush)
Analysis:
Preflop: standard call
Flop: Stack sizes are ~1 PSB if hero flat calls villain's bet. Is there merit to flat calling and seeing the turn?
Yes, b/c villain (w/o reads) is not likely bet/folding and not assumed to be tricky.
Thus, hero should try to use postflop edge by flop call and see turn card. Also, there is little if any fold equity especially after making pot sized continuation bet and did not look like someone who was capable of bet/folding.
Hero's stack: ~30k @ 600/1200
---------------
blinds: 600/1200
Only 1 PSB left if flatted. Down to like 30k. Then flatted akkt ak suited on button. Should have flatted ak3r. 2 on turn. Villain has wheel wrap
Hero dealt: AKKT (AK suited)
(folds to seat 1 in HJ)
1 (~28k): raises
2 (~25k): calls
button (hero, 30k): calls
SB: folds
BB: folds
(3 players - 12600 in pot)
Flop: AK3 rainbow
1: bet 6000
2: folds
hero: raises to 15000
1: calls
2: folds
(2 players - 42600 in pot)
Turn: AK32 (flush draw)
1: bets all in (12500)
hero: calls
(2 players - 1 all in)
River: AK32T (flush draw)
Analysis:
Preflop: Call is fine
Flop: Is there much value in raising the flop? Will villain fold a lot of flop c-bet range that has equity but can't stand raise? Probably not.
Turn: Because pot is bloated, hero actually has right price to call for half. Villain could also be rarely betting a counterfeited nut low.
Hero bricks and at 1700 600 1200

Short stack tutorial:
1. J652 j5 suited. Folded to hero UTG+2 and hero raises all in.
1A. Board = QA36k and gets half of 4 way all in. 3400 but will be on big blind at 1000 2000.
Analysis: his seemed pretty normal to get it in for a raise AI and hope to scare players who aren't looking at stacks. 3 low cards are a good candidate to try to get half.
2. Hero Folded t954 r utg
3. 10 minute break.
4. Blinds up and hero did not win chip race. 3000 1000 2000
5. Oops. Did not see villain limped in small blind. Could have say option with kj t2 ss. Would have gotten in eventually.
6. Board runs 96564 hero had flush draw on flop and made on river. Small blind had 8642 with suit.
---------------
Hero out in level 9
~108/200 entries
Overall, the field seemed very soft and players were making a lot of mistakes in this "turbo" MTT.
