WSOP 1500 Dealer's Choice - Overall Reflections

Other notes about Dealer's Choice event:

---------------
Other notes from people:
Dealer's choice aside (from talking to a dealer who was dealing Dealer's Choice):
One guy kept choosing PLO and trying to build a stack.
The player lost 50k pot, still had 20k.

---------------
Hero joked about these points with first table:
1. Losing the most amount in the first ever PL5CD hand.
2. Taking too long to decide on a game, then jokingly saying to "call the clock on game selection" (which we asked a floor about and game can be called with player losing right to choose).
People were saying I should really try to think about what game to choose next when I folded hand before.

---------------
It's also funny when 2 people at my table were commenting in this article:
http://www.pokernews.com/news/2014/06/players-react-to-inaugural-dealers-choice-event-18578.htm
L.F. -> 5 Card Draw should probably be NL with antes (like on PokerStars).
Michael "the Grinder" Mizrachi after hero asks him his thoughts on the Dealer's Choice event at the 3k PLO8: "It was the best tourney of the series. Everyone's sick of NLHE."

---------------
Overall thoughts about Dealer's Choice Event:
1. The tournament seemed very fun and hopefully it will be continued with some tweaks.
2. Hero feels he worked hard and is more well rounded.
3. There were very few (if any fish) after talking with many other mixed game players.
4. It was a really great MTT. Hero was trying very hard to leak bust in Badeucy/Badacey and thought it was good for the most part. At the time of this trip report though, there were some additional leaks that were unknown at time hero played (especially after 2nd/3rd draw and finding spots to fold). Hero's 1 mistake was overvaluing 9/9 in badeucy (which was fixed).
