15000 starting stack with 50/100 blinds and 30 min. levels.

First Table Reads:

1 younger male
2 hero
3 mid aged male, long hair
4 grey hair, sunglasses on head, seemed like station
5 younger, mid aged guy
6 guy with cowboy hat
7 older guy with glasses on head
8 old guy with glasses

---------------
Hero late registered after a near disaster at Planet Hollywood. Hero originally was going to determine number of entries and fire multiple barrels in possibly the 4:00PM flight. Hero talked with one friend who was at the Big O MTT to get a survey for numbers.
Hero was fortunate to look at Planet Hollywood's Twitter (https://twitter.com/ph_poker/status/745835433980989441) to see the cancellation and notified a couple friends.

Hero decides to late register in level 5 for the Big O MTT.

Vil3: shows AQT64 (probably suited A, but could be rainbow)
Hero's stack: 6400

Analysis:
Preflop: Standard. Hero is wanting to get other people in pot with 1 way high hand.
Flop: Standard. Hero has great equity and can get value from naked wraps.
Turn: This may have been a better spot to double barrel with low draw on board. Hero is not sure why it is a check in this spot unless hero thinks of a check/raise.
River: This is not a great river value bet. Hero has no low and has only a weak high. Hero calling a raise also seems bad, even if it is a min raise.

This was just badly played on the turn and river.

Hero's stack: 6400

Vil7: calls

Vil7: shows Ax 7x 6x 5x 2x

(2 players - 31800 in pot, 1 all in)
Board: 4h 5h Qc 7c As

Analysis:
Preflop: Standard. Hero could also raise in the BB too.
Flop: Hero could check/raise now, but hero would rather 3/4 multiple players.
Turn: Hero should have called instead of "looking stronger" by raising. If hero's plan is to keep inviting players in the pot, hero should continue to do that instead of all of a sudden raising the turn and looking strong (even if raise was not that big). This was not a great raise. Villain was likely tanking and would have called if hero had called too.

Hero: doubles to 32000
---------------

Vil4: calls

(2 players - 11900 in pot)
Turn: 8x 2h Th 9s
Hero: bets 6300
Vil4: raises pot (30800 total)
Hero: folds

Analysis:
Preflop: Standard.
Flop: Standard. Hero can bet called by worse low draws and pairs.
Turn: Standard betfold. Hero tries to fold naked low draws. When hero is raised, hero hopes to backdoor for 1/2 the pot. This is not a great spot to call for tournament life hoping to get half back.

Hero's stack: 32000 -> 17800

River: 2h 5h Jx Tx Tx (high card on river, giving hero no pair)
(all players check)

Vil7: shows Ax Ax 9x 9x 2x
Vil5: mucks

Hero: out in 63rd

Analysis:
Preflop: Standard. Hero tries to isolate in hopes of getting it heads up.

---------------
Overall Analysis:

Hero is not sure why there was some nitty preflop play with hero's stack size. AABBB (no low) should be a raise/call with 5BBs. There was some not great play in 1-2 spots too (betting w/o much fold equity on river in spot where hero has mediocre high/no low).
