200 NLHE Turbo at King's Casino

200 Turbo NLHE MTT at King's Casino for WSOP Circuit (International).
15000 starting chips at 25/50 blinds and 15 min. levels.

---------------
First Table Reads:
1 hero
2 guy with long hair and beard
3 old guy with glasses
4 young guy with hoodie, had SCOOP watch (level 13 - young guy with beard, level 14 - old guy with cap)
5 (level 11) big guy
6 guy with long hair, headset
7 (level 11) purple shirt, mid aged guy
8 bald old guy with sunglasses
9 young guy with beard and hat.

---------------
Hero could have registered at level 6. Hero eventually decided to late register just at end of level 7.

Hero debated a while about whether to enter MTT or not. Hero originally planned to go before trip started. But after making day 2, the plans changed.

At hero's registration time, there were 259 entries (including reentries) with 181 remaining).

---------------
Level 7 - Blinds: 200/400, Ante: 50

Hero dealt in button: Qc 9c

Preflop:
Vil9 (CO): called
Hero (But): raised to 1650
Vil1: called

(2 players - 4350 in pot)
Flop: Qx Tc 6c
Vil9: checks
Hero: bets 2600
Vil9: folds

Analysis:
Preflop: Standard.
Flop: Standard.

---------------
Hero's stack at Level 9 break: 16500 @ 300/600/50

---------------
Level 10 - Blinds: 400/800, Ante: 100

Hero dealt in SB: ATo

Preflop:
(folds to Vil7)
Vil7 (HJ): raises to 1600
Vil8 (CO): calls
(folds to hero)
Hero (SB): raises all in (~16k)
Vil7: folds
Vil8: folds

Analysis:
Preflop: What is bottom of hero's shoving range? Could hero shove "air" (ex) T9s)? ATo seemed like good squeeze spot.

---------------
Level 11 - Blinds: 500/1000, Ante: 100

Hero dealt in SB: 76o

Preflop:
(folds to Vil2)
Vil5 (UTG+1): calls
Hero (SB): calls
Vil2 (BB, 7k): checks

(3 players - 3900 in pot)
Flop: Qc 7h 5d
Hero: bets 1900
Vil2: folds
Vil5: folds

Analysis:
Preflop: Vil5 seemed to be passive; thus, this was a call since the likelihood of getting raised was low. If villain appeared to be competent, this could be a fold.
Flop: Hero bets to get value from an Ax or bottom pair that could call.

---------------
Hero dealt in button: A8s

Preflop:
(folds to hero)
Hero (But): raises to 2200
Vil2 (SB): folds
Vil3 (BB): folds

Analysis:
Preflop: Standard.

---------------
Hero dealt in CO: 77

Preflop:
(folds to Vil8)
Vil8 (UTG+2): calls
(folds to hero)
Hero (CO): raises to 3300
Vil2 (But): raises to 6400 (all in)
Vil8: folds
Hero: calls

Vil2: shows 44

Board: Ax 6h 2h Jx 9x

Analysis:
Preflop: Standard hero isolation. Given hero's pot odds, hero is calling. The question: Is there a stack size where hero does not call button shove?

---------------
Level 12 - Blinds: 600/1200, Ante: 200

Hero dealt in CO: AQs

Preflop:
(folds to Vil8)
Vil8 (UTG+2): calls
Hero: (CO, ~23k): raises to 4000
Vil3 (SB, ~30k): reraises all in (30k)
Hero: thinks for a while, then folds

Analysis:
Preflop: Isolation raise is standard. Vil7 was limping often.
What is the correct calling range against SB's shove? Should hero call?
It seemed like the right fold, but maybe it's too tight.

---------------
(7 players)
Level 13 - Blinds: 800/1600, Ante: 200
Hero dealt in : KTo

Preflop:
Hero (UTG+2): raises to 3500
(folds to Vil8)
Vil8 (SB): reraises all in (8800)
Vil9 (BB): folds
Hero: calls

Vil8: shows AA

Board: Kx Tx 3x Jx Ax
Hero's stack: 12500

Analysis:
Preflop: This could be a bit loose in EP. Is hero priced in to call SB's shove (5BB total)? Yes. Hero's knowledge of push/fold tables is tough to know when hero should raise/fold. It might be 17+BBs (with antes) or M > 6.

---------------
Hero's stack: 12500

Hero dealt in button: 77

Preflop:
Vil5 (UTG): raises to 3600
Hero (BB): thinks for a while, then folds.

Analysis:
Preflop: Against a tight opening range, is this a shove with ~10BBs? Hero doubts there is fold equity, so it's strictly an equity calculation.
Hero was unsure and decided to wait for a better spot.

---------------
Hero dealt in UTG+2: J9s

Preflop:
Hero (UTG+2): folds

Analysis:
Preflop: Is this a leak push/fold chart wise? It does not appear to be the case based on a referenced push/fold chart.

---------------
(next hand)
Hero dealt in UTG+1: K6o

Preflop:
(folds to hero)
Hero (BB): raises all in (12k)
(all players fold)

Analysis:
Preflop: This hand seems to be worse candidate given worse position and actual hand. This is actually a fold based on a referenced push/fold chart.

---------------
Level 14 - Blinds: 1000/2000, Ante: 300
Hero's stack: 12400

Hero dealt in CO: Kd 4d

Preflop:
(folds to hero)
Hero (CO): raises all in (12.4k)
Vil4 (BB): calls

Vil4: shows Ah Ts

Board: 9c 8c Ac 7c 4x

Analysis:
Preflop: According to the referenced push/fold chart, this is close. Hero is pretty sure an all in shove is correct GTO play.

---------------
Hero out in 79th of 259 runners (216 unique players, 41 re-entries). 27 places paid.

The field seemed really soft even for hero's modest and rusty NLHE MTT experience.
