2-5 PLO and 1-2 PLO8 at Choctaw Durant

2/5 PLO (200 min, 70% of max stack (approximately ~$2.5k-3k) self-observations:
may have been too loose with QQxx ss calling raises deep OOP

2 Key Hands:
I. Button Straddled Pot:
Hero raised T987 T8 suited SB w/ MS straddle
c/f MW on brick flop (bottom pair, no wrap or flush draw).

2. Hero chopped "run it 2x" after hero deferred to other player's preference.
Hero raised in MP (iso limper) - KK97 ds to KK
Flop: 862 two tone (hero has both flush draws)
Hero gets c/r and all in against naked 88xx

Boards: Tx Qh
Boards: Ax 4x
Hero gets normal flush draw - T Qh
Hero doesn't get 2nd board - Ax 4x

Analysis:
Flop: This seemed pretty normal even in MW pot with both 2nd nut flush draws.

---------------
1/2 PLO8 (100 min, 70% of max stack, so approximately ~$1200). Hero sat with maximum amount.
Hero briefly switched to the 1-2 w/ 5 Bring In PLO8 game before leaving.

Hero was also fortunate to be in his first ever splash pot. $99 was added to 1 pot preflop. Hero did not win the hand.

Villains seemed to play tight/straightforward, although many were relatively competent (albeit loose home game feel).

Preflop:
Hero dealt in UTG+1: Ah Kd 8s 3s

Preflop:
(1 player limps)
Hero: limps
Vil6: limps
Vil8 (SB): checks
Vil9 (BB): checks

(5 players - ~25 in pot)
Flop: Qx 7h 2h
Vil6: bet 25 from later position
Vil8 (SB): calls
Hero flats

(3 players - ~100 in pot)
Turn: Qx 7h 2h 6h
check
hero bets 100
both players fold

Analysis:
Flop: Hero was planning to semi-bluff a heart. Normally, this is a check/fold if villains are more loose passive post-flop
Turn: Naked ace donk bet bluff with nut low - seemed decent, although hero might have been able to c/r 1 player or the field.
