Cleveland Casino Opening + WSOP Prep

As the Cleveland Casino opening approaches, I've been trying to play live a little more often. Hopefully, I'll be able to grind live 1-4x/week.

However, I have to find a good balance b/w the new PLO (live) cash games that will be running and prepping by playing MTTs prior to the WSOP. I think I'll focus more on live play through Memorial Day at the moment.

Live:
My first 5-5 (which played more like 5/10 w/ straddles) PLO session at Rivers was played shorthanded. I felt somewhat uncomfortable about stakes (b/c I didn't have enough buyins for 200bb min buyins on me at the time), then necessarily shorthanded play. The table lineup wasn't soft though and I had to take a break after kinda getting it in bad ~160bbs deep after flopping 2 pair + FD + barreling even on a wrap turn.

I've played 5-5 PLO8 with 10 straddle at the Rio before, but it's one thing to play split pot games this way.

Hopefully, (when I'm realizing I'm on my B or A game), I'll be ready to play 200BB deep PLO8 or PLO at the 5/5 level.

In all games (PLO/NLHE and to some extent PLO8), I still feel awkward in many people/multi-way pots. I'm trying to mix in some decent hands (obviously suited axxx hands, some "wrappish" hands with gaps, connectors/suited ace in NLHE) on button (and CO if weak/straight forward button) to try to increase my VPIP and "stealing" opportunities to not try to look like a super tight player (ie: nit).

Online:
I'm still lurking at 25PLO. I'm still not sure if I'm doing ok and should move up to 50PLO, or if I'm spewing still in various spots.
I also had my first good 100PLO8 almost 13 months after my first forays on FTP (and 3 months since last shot take in Feb/Mar on Merge).
