350 NLHE @ Venetian (Venetian Deep Stack Series)
Every entry nets you one of three things as a "comp"

3. $10 food comp
2 people wore ones from the previous VDS with NAPT and pokerstars patches. Those looked really nice.
Also, the back had a black "PokerStars" logo (with the spade) which looked really nice.
No other tournaments offered anything in terms of comps.
People who late registered are blinded off at a round per 15 min.
The "chips" are not removed from play. They are put back into each subsequent pot (1 sb at a time) for the late registrant (or others) to win.

I was fortunate that a "dry board" actually was good to get the PFR to cbet.
The check-raise and subsequent shove on turn was standard, IMO.

Analysis:
At the time, I did not notice there was a raise in front of me, so when I said raise, it was actually a reraise.
When villain calls on a "somewhat dry board" after calling 3 bet, he likely hit the board. The double barrel by hero was very bad. Hero could "represent an ace", but people calling more than likely have a "K" in their range.
Villain told me (after he busted) that he had AK (which fits his action perfectly). He was hoping I had some sort of hand which is why he shoved.
At the time, I definitely was not going to fire a 3rd barrel on the river.
Hero lost 1/4 of stack on this 2nd bet...
