1500 starting stack with 2 rebuys with 25/25 blinds and 60 min. levels
Table Reads by the time hero's first hand was played.
1 original player was middle aged person...seemed to try to show lots of aggression with naked low draw early on
also took all bullets
2 Hero
3 middle aged man - seemed like microstakes hero
4 middle aged lady who mentioned she'd rather bust and hang out on the beach or build up a stack (and her husband had performed well at another WSOP event)
5 seemed competent
6 likely old nit?
7 older guy with Wynn cap? (maybe inverted with seat 6?)
Understands showdown raised oop with aa5 with suit
Checked 887 flop though...w/ low draw onboard
Villain in 7 hole has gotten aa5 twice, flopped set and held up
8 youngish man - maybe internet player?
9 older gentleman, likely loose cannon and said phrases like "I'll probably suck out on you today"
10 not sure if same person initially
eventually Asian middle aged lady?
Overall: table seemed passive + hero got some free plays when in BB.

Analysis:
Preflop: Iso-raise is better to try to get it HU or 3 way maximum.
Flop bet is best with top trips + top kicker and no low on 2 flush board.
Turn donk is a bit scary as villain leads w/ a lot of A3xx, but also 42xx combos.
River: Hero is not really going to get better to fold (as 42xx does not fold), so check back is pretty normal

Analysis:
Preflop: Normal open in MP+1. At weak table, trying to build pot to be able to get stacks in by river on favorable flops.
Flop: This is a relatively favorable flop. Hero cbets for value, but villain folds. I don't think there's much merit in checking back since there's no read that villain is aggressive.

Analysis: Keeping pressure on with a good chunk of hero's ranges preflop is smart especially in position. It can help for metagame by getting some folds later on and/or provide avenues for more pressure in the future.

villain shows AJx2 and hero and villain chop
Analysis:
Turn: Hero betting here to try to pick up an orphan pot seems ok. Maybe hero can bet larger (~750), but villains aren't likely paying attention to pot size...)
River: Although hero has Ace high, the only draw that gets there is 96 (straight) or villain being too late and betting rivered boat. Most villains would bet or c/r the turn. Hero is fortunate to share same high and low to chop.

River: J7527 (flush draw misses)
5: bets 1000
Hero: tanks for a minute, then calls
villain bets the pot
hero tanks for a couple minutes, but eventually folds.
After the hand, villain says he had A743, but never showed.
Analysis:
Preflop: Standard preflop raise
Flop: Standard cbet
Turn:
A. Villain donking (not a PSB) a counterfeit low for a non-pot sized amount seemed weird.
B. The smallish bet size confused hero.
C. Hero felt villain was competent, but was hero sophisticated enough to donk bluff a counterfeit card? Or is villain just betting for value/freeroll with nut low (A3xx)?
D. Turn call or fold can be ok. But a turn call could put hero in bad RIO (reverse implied odds) spot.
River:
A. Hero tanks and folds correctly. This probably wasn't too hard of a decision, but at least hero thought about it a while.
B. AAxx, KKxx, QQxx have spiked better 2 pair and are better than hero's hand. Other hands that were already ahead (7xxx) are still ahead. Hero could chop AJxx, but a lot of them probably have a low.
C. Hero's EV is not really high with river call.

5: has nut low draw
8: has AAxx (top set)
(4 players - 3 all in - pot = ~5.2k in main, 1.2k in first side pot, 9k in second side pot = ~16k)
Turn: AT8Q flush draw, but not hero's flush draw)
River: AT8QT
Analysis:
Preflop: Normal call of preflop raise
Flop: Hero's high strength is pretty weak MW. It might actually be closer to a fold. This is a tough spot. Different moves are possible (although some/all decisions seem close).
Negative: Hero does not have NLD. Because it's multiway (although hero has a blocker to nut low), the NLD is still more likely to exist.
A better high hand will likely exist. Given the action, hero might get a worser hand like A8xx (w/o redraws) to fold.
Positive: Hero's intent is to try to overrepresent high hand, but have low draw as backup. But, it may not really work in this case.
Hypothetical: If hero had top 2, it's a cooler. although considering there were 4 people in the pot, it's not surprising to see someone with a set. Nut low draws are definitely in the mix too (and one person had one)
Overall, this was probably a mistake to get all chips in. More often than not, hero is in a bad spot and hoping to push out other people may have been too optimistic...
There is some merit with the play though, but maybe not given the fact that hero's OOP and can find a better spot given likely edge against the table.
***note: hero's twitter account likely had a typo and listed AT42. AJ42 seems more right and makes sense given the layout of keys on the phone (5 = JKL & 8 = TUV). Hero was really mad about hand after fact b/c it was likely a mistake, rather than a "cooler" situation.
Hero uses last bullet: 1500 in chips.
---------------
Hero dealt: K532 (53 suited)

A villain behind raised.
Hero called
In multiway (likely 4 handed) pot, hero folded on the flop (board was like Q65)
Hero's stack: 1125 @ 100/200 blinds
Analysis: There seemed like less Aces in players' hands given the players who were in the pot...Thus, the reason to call with a 3 wheel card hand (which is weak). There's also merit in folding preflop.
---------------
Hero dealt: AQ63 (A3) suited
Hero (UTG): raises to 525
8: calls

10 (SB): calls

10: calls
Turn: K87J two tone
9: checks
10: checks
River: K87J9 (flush draw misses)
9: checks
10: checks
seat 10 shows rivered straight
Hero is out in level 4.
Analysis:
Preflop: Neither villain in hand seemed super aggressive.
Flop: Is there merit for betting and hoping to get other villains to fold? It's debatable.
Villains seemed passive and kind of calling station like, so in actuality, maybe there's some merit in taking passive line? Possibly, I'm being results oriented...
---------------
Overall Analysis:
This was a good table draw. There were some unfortunate coolers (especially in MW situation), but it was +EV to enter the MTT.
Trying to get the most value for the time and money while balancing my play both at the tables and in real life...
I prefer the background, not the limelight!

hero flipped 5 way with AK86 (A6 suited)
Hero bricks flip.
Analysis:
After talking with a friend, this was likely a spew since Aces are probably blocked.
-----------
Hero also made a passive play out of position and let an aggressive short stack (relatively speaking, 60 BBs deep, but had been bluffing often in short time at table) bluff 2x while hero had a nut flush on turn/river..
No other interesting hands to note in the hour of play.

Analysis:
On these types of boards, hero did not know how often villain 3 barrels when donking small on this type of board. With such few hero chips, it may not necessarily be right to float and try to take it away on turn/river.
Also, this was the second "bingo" (3 of a kind) flop at this MTT.

Analysis:
Preflop: Some argument could be made for folding, but chances of getting eliminated with 3 low cards is not super high to counterfeit protection. Also, Hero is getting immediate price to call preflop 3-bet.
Flop: Flopping 2 pair/no low draw = outflopping aces and hero should call.

Binions 200 PLO8 MTT
20000 chips with 50/100 blinds and 40 min. levels
Hero entered at end of late registration, so blinds are 200/400.
Hero showed up right at the end of late registration. It is a reentry MTT, but they give people the option of "surrendering" their stack at the end of the reentry period and gaining a new stack. This seems like a great move by Binion's tournament director to keep "integrity of game (ie: no chip dumping)" if people are trying to get a new entry with full stack.

Player 5 seemed like a tough/tricky villain. Since 2 high flops are less likely to hit a "tight range" (which was most players' perception of hero), this is a good spot to bluff check raise or semi-bluff check raise with 2p+, maybe wrap+flush draw, nfd, nfd+pair, etc...
In retrospect, it may not have great to cbet this flop....

Analysis:
Flop:
Turn: This is a pure bluff with hero's hand and villain had not shown a lot of aggression
River: When villain only calls turn and perfect bluff river card (for counterfeit low) appears, this seems like an easy bet as a bluff.
Villain's hand strength is capped and is actually not very strong because most would have led turn+river with good straights. The board is fairly polarized, especially on the river, to straights and air.
With turn and river bet, hero is repping a straight (likely nut straight). Turn bet/river check indicates non-nut straight w/ counterfeited low.

Hero's stack: down to 9900
Analysis:
I think this is completely normal to cbet this flop with overpair+nld w/ counterfeit protection. However, it may be a fold if villain was nitty puts money on turn/river (this villain was a bit looser/non-nut peddling though).

Analysis:
Player 5 seemed like a tough/tricky villain. Since 2 high flops are less likely to hit a "tight range" (which was most players' perception of hero), this is a good spot to bluff check raise or semi-bluff check raise with 2p+, maybe wrap+flush draw, nfd, nfd+pair, etc...
In retrospect, it may not have great to cbet this flop....

Analysis:
This seems fine overall.
Flop: A bet will not get called by worse.
Turn: Same (no low is possible)
River: I think bet sizing is ok to try to get value from someone slowplaying Qxxx or a non-nut boat.

Updated Player Read:
8: eventually busts and replaced by African American (middle aged guy). At this point, people were saying he's fairly aggressive and had shown aggression in some pots.

Analysis:
Flop: Hero was trying to go for check/raise, but failed. I might have been too hopeful of it in a 4 way pot (especially in a limped pot).
Turn: It's time to try to get value, but there's no value to be found.

Analysis:
Flop: Hero doesn't want to get blown off NLD + non-nut gutshot + BDFD
Turn: Going for a check/raise here seemed right. While an A or 2 isn't the greatest of cards, going for a c/r all in seems best to try to freeroll someone with naked A2.

8: villain folds
Analysis:
Flop: Check/calling flop is standard since board is very draw heavy and no guarantee hero can get others to fold equity.
Turn: It's a cooler to see higher boats here, but hero needs to get value and price out low draws (among other things). Bet sizing might have been better?
River: Standard play to get value from bluff catchers (such as trip 5s) which may check/call.

? what did hero even have?
Missed good spot to two barrel on turn river on 35672. I am a fish and should have bet in position. 12600 on 300 600 dinner.
Seat 5's new read: When this hand occurred, I could tell villain was tough player. He said he was playing a ton of 75/150 LO8 and we had played some HORSE in West Palm Beach.
hero dealt: AQJ9 (A9 suited)
(hero did not have low wheel cards, so maybe 4 high suited cards?)
(was there flush draw on board? - probably not)
5: raised in EP

5: checks
hero bet turn (how much) (1700?)
turn:
river:
5: checks
hero tanked and didn't bet the river
villain shows: 2 low pair/bad low draw and scoops
Analysis:

Blinds: 300/600

Hero: announces raise to 2000
Hero was trying to make change to raise to 2000, but just put in 2 * 1000 chips and took all the blinds.
SB eventually folds.
Hero eventually realized this and joked with the table about "literally stealing blinds".

8: bets 4000

8: calls
villain: shows AT32
river: T86Q2
Hero: Out
Analysis:
Flop: Checking back seems ok as hero doesn't have a huge amount of equity with naked flush draw/bad low draw.
Turn: Jamming here is pretty standard. It's a cooler to see villain's hand.
---------------
Hero: out (approximately 145/214)
Overall: There were definitely some spots with hero missteps that lost for value.
